When the unit is connected to a personal branch exchange (PBX), its supplier,
or the delivered instruction manual will be able to inform you. The description of
the comfort functions below can be slightly different from the operation mode of
your PBX.

After confirmation of the previous setting, the actual setting is displayed, "1"
for 100 ms and "2" 300 ms; e.g.:

Press the scroll-keys
choose 100 ms:
Press P to save the input values.

The program automatically continues with the setting of the ringer for the
base, as described in the next chapter.

The handset returns to stand-by mode by pressing the "hang-up" – key

Volume and melody

Remark:
This setting is only possible after having made the setting described in the pre-
vious chapters.

After confirmation of the previous setting, the actual volume (left) and mel-
ody (right) for the base appear; e.g.:

Press the scroll-keys
numeric key for choosing the melody (1 – 5). Example for ringer volume 3
and melody 1:
Press P to save the input values.

The handset returns to stand-by mode, all settings have passed the sepa-
rate review and the setting is closed.

Registering additional handsets to the base

You can register up to 5 handsets to one base. De-registration is not possible.

Hold the paging – key (16), until a double long tone is heard.
Hold the programming key P (2) until a hyphen runs over the display, left
