Short dialing memory (direct access)

Programming the short dialing memory (direct access)

Three numbers can be saved in the short dialing memory. The short dialing
keys are the buttons from 1 to 3 on the handset. The programming is similar to
the programming of the phonebook:
Press the programming key (2), B.

the phonebook is empty, the display shows:
If the phonebook already contains records, the first telephone num-
ber appears e.g.:
Hold the programming key (2), until P appears to the right of B. ,

and the digit on the leftmost position starts blinking.
Press the number button, of the short dialing memory where you

want to enter a new telephone number. Press e.g. "2", then the
display will change to e.g.:
and the cursor in the fourth display position blinks.

Now, you can input the telephone number on the keypad (5).
Confirm your entry with the programming key (2). You hear a posi-

tive confirmation tone and the record will be saved.
The next free memory position appears on the display, if you want, you can
continue to input further numbers.
For leaving the phonebook menu, press the hang-up key

Dialing from the short dialing memory

Hold the direct access number you want to call, until f and "EXT"

appear on the display. Saved number will be dialed automatically.
Press the pick-up key (3). f and "EXT" appear on the display, in

the symbol line. The telephone number is dialed automatically.

Press "hang-up" (11), to end the communication.
The number in short dialing memory number 1 1 can also be dialed by press-
ing the direct dialing key "M1" (9).
