Using the television's (or Video projector's) instruction
manual check to see if current settings to the television
(or Video projector) are necessary in order to use the
DVD player with the television.
No sound
A
Check to see if the television and/or DVD player are
currently switched to mute.

Check to see if all connections cables between the DVD
player and currently connected audio components are
firmly plugged into the corresponding sockets.

Check whether the settings in the OSD menu match the
connection option you have used to connect the audio
components to the DVD player.

nent via the analogue stereo outlet (via cinch cables to the
cinch sockets L and R) of the DVD player:
Check to see if you have selected the option Large in the
OSD Menu under the Sub menu option Front LS.
No 4:3 or 16:9 image

Consult the operating manual of the television to determine
which image format the television supports.

Check whether the settings in the OSD menu match the
available image format of the television.
Remote control does not function
A
Check to see that the remote control batteries are inser-
ted into the battery compartment according to the correct
polarity.

dead and replace both batteries, if necessary.

The playback language / subtitle language configured in
the OSD menu is not available on the inserted disc.

What are DVDs, VCDs and S-VCDs?
DVDs
DVD is short for "Digital Versatile Disc". DVDs are used to
store audio and video data; they exist in the sizes 8 cm and
12 cm (diameter). With a storage capacity many times greater
than that of CD-Rs/CD-RWs, DVDs offer up to eight hours of
playback time for the audio and video data they contain.

Make sure that there are no obstructions between the
remote control and the DVD player.
When using the remote control position yourself not
more than five metres from the DVD player.
