7. Remove the following:
a) cooling shroud
b) cooling-fan assembly
c) backplane expander board
d) hard-drive backplane
e) PCIe cage
f) power distribution board
g) system board
h) power pass-through board
i) blower module bay
8. Holding the midplane by its slots, disengage the midplane from the two securing pins on the chassis.
