Switching on the notebook

Suspend/Resumebutton Power-onindicator Notebook:switching on
► Slide the ON/OFF switch (1) towards the display to switch on the notebook.
The ON/OFF switch automatically returns to its starting position.
The power-on indicator (2) lights.

Programming the ON/OFF switch

You can program the ON/OFF switch:
Operating system
Windows XP
Windows 7
If you have assigned a password, you must enter this when requested to
do so, in order to start the operating system. Detailed information can be
