Start-Up
During startup, it is necessary to perform routine checks on the performance of the unit. This includes checking the air flow, air filters and
refrigerant.
Filters
Do not operate the unit without filters in place. The unit should be checked for correct filter placement during start-up. Operation of the
equipment without filters will result in a clogged evaporator coil.
Before completing start-up and leaving the unit, a complete operating cycle should be observed to verify that all components are
functioning properly.
Supply Fans
The DOAS is equipped with direct drive, backward curved plenum supply fan assembly.
Fan Air Flow Adjustment
A specific air volume is delivered by the fans and electronically commutated motor (ECM). Field air flow adjustment may be required at
start-up.
Fan speed can be adjusted using the DOAS controls. Below is a screenshot of the DOAS Controls highlighting the fan speed adjustment
from 0% to 100%
