Select the VHS deck.
Press S-VHS.

Load a cassette.
Insert a cassette with the record safety tab intact.

Set the recording speed.

Press MODE ( ).
For the VHS deck:
It is not possible to select EP mode if "COLOUR SYSTEM" is

set to "MESECAM". pg. 76

Locate the start point.
A Search for the point where you want to start dubbing

by pressing , or

and simultaneously to enter the Record-
Pause mode.

Select the HDD deck.
Press HDD. The Easy Dubbing screen appears again.
To cancel dubbing, select "CANCEL".

Start dubbing.

Press to move the arrow to "DUB START", then press
OK. When the dubbing completes successfully, the
message "DUBBING COMPLETED" appears on the TV
screen.

To stop dubbing, press
Once the dubbing is stopped, it can not be resumed. In this
case, the message appears on the TV screen, and the
programmes on the hard disk drive are not deleted even
though "DUB/DEL" is selected.
NOTE:
If you start dubbing without setting the VHS deck to Record
Pause mode in step H, you can watch the preview.
