3.7 System Data Conversion

3.7.1 System Data Conversion
There are the following two types of KX-TD500 Maintenance Console software (ROM
version).
• P971X (X: suffix, C'
• Q851XX (XX: suffix, AA', AB'
TD500V2-2 is a functionally expanded version of TD500V2-1, and the system data of these
two softwares are not compatible to each other.
To solve this problem, TD500V2-2 is equipped with System Data Conversion function. This
enables the system data downloaded from TD500V2-1 to be uploaded to TD500V2-2.
Operation
1.
Download the system data of TD500V2-1 and save it as a file.
(Please refer to Section "3.6.2 Download (from PBX to PC).")
2.
Start up the TD500V2-2.
3.
Point to "File" in the Main Menu and click.
• The "File" drop-down menu is displayed.
4.
Click "Convert" in the drop-down menu.
• "Open" dialogue box is displayed.
