PROBLEM
• When using the
speakerphone mode with
an analogue proprietary
telephone, nothing is
audible.
• When using the
speakerphone/monitor
mode with a DPT, nothing
is audible.
• The unit does not ring.
• During a power failure,
extensions assigned for
power failure operation do
not operate.
• Originating an outside
call, Call Transfer, or
Conference cannot be
performed.
Troubleshooting
PROBABLE CAUSE
• The HANDSET /
HEADSET selector is set
to the "HEADSET"
position.
• The "HEADSET" mode
is selected by Station
Programming, "Handset/
Headset Selection."
• The Ringer Volume
Selector is set to "OFF."
• A DPT or APT is
connected to the
extension port.
• The dialling mode (tone
or pulse) is improper.
• The corresponding CO
button does not exist on
the proprietary telephone.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
• When the headset is not used, set the
HANDSET / HEADSET selector to
the "HANDSET" position.
• When the headset is not used, select
the "HANDSET" mode by Station
Programming.
• Set to "HIGH" or "LOW."
• Disconnect the DPT or APT and
connect a single line telephone.
• Set the Tone / Pulse switch to the
other position.
• Programme the CO button. Please
refer to "Flexible CO key
Assignment" in Section "4.3
Extension Line" of the Programming
Guide.
