Operation via remote controller is impossible
¡Remote controller infrared transmitter not facing unit infrared receiver.
¡Obstruction is between the remote controller and the unit.
¡Remote controller battery is depleted.
→ Replace the battery (p.33).
¡Remote controller battery is inserted incorrectly.
→ Check the +/– terminals and reinsert the battery correctly (p.33).
RADIO
The station cannot be received.
¡Check the connection of the car antenna.
¡Check the frequency.
Automatic tuning is not possible.
¡The broadcast signal is too weak.
→ Perform manual setting.
¡The DX mode is not set.
→ Set to
(p.76).
DX
During FM reception, the broadcast signal is too weak.
¡Set to (monaural) (p.76).
MONO
An FM program broadcast in stereo is heard in monaural.

DISC ERROR
¡Disc is inserted upside down.
→ Reinsert correctly with the printed side upwards.
¡Disc is dirty.
→ Clean the disc.
¡The disc cannot play because of some problem.
→ Insert another disc.
CAN NOT PLAY
¡DVD with a region number that does not correspond with the unit is inserted.
¡The disc is not compatible with this unit.
ON THE FRONT PANEL
ERR-1
¡Disc is inserted upside down.
→ Reinsert correctly with the printed surface upwards.
¡Disc is dirty.
→ Clean the disc.
¡The disc cannot play because of some problem.
→ Insert another disc.
ERR-2
¡DVD with a region number that does not correspond with the unit is inserted.
