Understanding the Status Bar

The Status Bar provides information about the currently displayed program.
Program information

While viewing a program, press the V button or any of the Trick Play buttons (such as
PLAY, PAUSE, etc.) to display the status bar.

While the status bar is displayed, press the V button again to display the Chapter Mark
area of the status bar.

Press v while the Chapter Mark area of the Status Bar is displayed to remove the Chapter
Mark area.

Press the Scroll/Select bar to add a Chapter Mark, if desired (see page 58).

If no buttons are pressed, the status bar will automatically disappear after several seconds.
6
Press the PLAY button to return to normal viewing.
