VISS (VHS INDEX SEARCH SYSTEM)
The VHS Index Search function gives you automatically access to locations on the tape where index marks are recorded.
It can perform index searching and skip searching when using the recorded tape containing index marks. The index marks
are automatically recorded on the tape at the time of recording start in the normal recording and timer recording.

• Press the MENU button then
the MENU screen will appear.
• Press "5" in the MENU screen
to enter into the FUNCTION
mode.

Press "1" in the FUNCTION mode
to enter INDEX

The VCR will fast forward, play the
first 6 seconds at every index
marked segment and search
again. This process will be repeat-
ed at every index marked seg-
ment to the end of a cassette.
To interrupt while playing for 6
seconds to watch, press the
PLAY button.
