check whether the print head nozzles are
clogged.
Load a sheet 01 A4 or lelter size. plain paper into the sheet leeder and
click the Print Check Pattern.

The nozzle check pattern will be printed. Do not open the Top Cover while
printing.

Clicking Initial Check Items displays the items to be checked before
printing the pattern.

Examine the pattern and take the appropriate action.

With the printer on, load a sheet of Letter-sized plain paper in the Auto Sheet
Feeder.
~Important
If other than Letter-sized paper is loaded, you cannot print the nozzle
check pattern. Be sure to use Letter-sized plain paper.

Gently press the

mark on the Front Tray to open the Front Tray, then
pull out the Front Tray Extension.
