    Setting up Your Companion Device Before pairing, please do the following on your smartphone or tablet. NOTE • To make calls with your watch, your companion device needs to be an Android smartphone. Make sure the companion device is running Android 4.3 or higher and supports Bluetooth®.

Check that the Android Wear is installed and updated to the latest version. On your companion device, make sure you are using the most recent version of Message+ as your default messaging app.

Keep your watch charging during setup. NOTE • Your watch will turn on automatically while charging.     Pairing Your Watch with Your Companion Device Follow these steps to pair your watch with your companion device. Turn on the watch and swipe the welcome screen left to begin. Tap a language. Keep your watch connected to the charging cord through the entire pairing process.
