WARNING
Battery terminals or metal tools could short against
metal machine components, causing sparks. Sparks
can cause the battery gasses to explode, resulting
in personal injury.
• When removing or installing the battery, do not
allow the battery terminals to touch any metal
parts of the machine.
• Do not allow metal tools to short between
the battery terminals and metal parts of the
machine.

Storing the Battery

If you store the machine for more than 30 days, remove the
battery and charge it fully. Either store it on a shelf or on the
machine. Leave the cables disconnected if you store it on
the machine. Store the battery in a cool atmosphere to avoid
quick deterioration of the charge in the battery. To prevent
the battery from freezing, ensure that it is fully charged. The
specific gravity of a fully charged battery is 1.265 to 1.299.

Checking the Tire Pressure

Service Interval: Every 50 hours
Maintain the air pressure in the front and rear tires. The
correct air pressure is 172 kPa (25 psi) in the rear tires and
103 kPa (15 psi) in the front tires. If a cab is installed on the
machine, the front and rear tires should be inflated to 172
kPa (25 psi). Uneven tire pressure can cause an uneven cut.
Check the tires when they are cold to get the most accurate
pressure reading.
Correcting the Steering
Misalignment
1. Press the steering-selector switch rearward (4-wheels
steering) position
1. Steering-selector switch
2. On a paved or dirt surface, turn the steering wheel to
the left or right and continue turning until all 4 wheels
have stopped turning. Automatic synchronization of
the wheel alignment should occur.
Important: Performing this procedure on turf
could damage the turf damage directly beneath
each of the turning tires.
