Configuration procedure
1. Configure the switch hosting the 10500/7500 20G unified wired-WLAN module:
# Create VLAN 200 (used for remote login), and add the interface connected to the PC to the
VLAN.
<Switch> system-view
[Switch] vlan 200
[Switch-vlan200] port GigabitEthernet 6/0/1
[Switch-vlan200] quit
# Configure the interface connected to the 10500/7500 20G unified wired-WLAN module as a
trunk interface, and configure the interface to allow traffic of all VLANs.
[Switch] interface ten-gigabitethernet3/0/1
[Switch-Ten-GigabitEthernet3/0/1] port link-type trunk
[Switch-Ten-GigabitEthernet3/0/1] port trunk permit vlan all
[Switch-Ten-GigabitEthernet3/0/1] quit
2. Configure the AC:
# Create VLAN 200 (used for remote login), configure the interface connected to the switch as a
trunk interface, and configure the interface to allow traffic of all VLANs.
[AC] interface ten-gigabitethernet1/0/1
[AC-Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] port link-type trunk
[AC-Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] port trunk permit vlan all
# Assign IP address 192.168.1.58/24 to VLAN-interface 200.
[AC] interface vlan-interface 200
[AC-VLAN-interface200] ip address 192.168.1.58 255.255.255.0
[AC-VLAN-interface200] quit
# Create a local user named admin, and set the password to admin for the user. Specify the Web
service type for the local user, and set the command level to 3 for this user.
[AC] local-user admin
[AC-luser-admin] service-type web
[AC-luser-admin] authorization-attribute level 3
[AC-luser-admin] password simple admin
3. Log in from the PC:
# On the PC, open the Web browser. Enter the IP address of the device in the address bar. The
Web login page appears, as shown in
Figure 15, configure the AC so the PC can log in to the AC's Web interface through HTTP.
