Energy management system (EMS)

Storage system display and control unit.
This comes pre-assembled on delivery.

Housing door
The On/Off switch for the storage system is located
behind the housing door.
USB ports (e.g. for installing updates) and the
terminals for the LAN and external components are
located under the switch.
The storage system connector block, which
connects the system to the in-house grid and the
public power grid, is located behind the guard plate.
Note: Never remove the guard plate. This may only
be removed by a trained electrician.

Components

3.6.1

Housing

The storage system housing contains all the storage
system components and the internal cables. The
battery cover is an integrated part of the housing. The
battery cover acts as a safety area by separating the
batteries from the other components.
3.6.2 Energy management system (EMS)
The energy management system (EMS) is the control
unit for the storage system. You can find the EMS pre-
assembled at the front of the storage system.
The EMS
regulates and secures the economical operation of

the storage system through integrated software
controls all energy flows within the system

