drawing program that supports transparancy, e.g.
Paint.NET (http://www.getpaint.net/), which is excellent
for this purpose and completely free.
Note
In Windows Vista and Windows 7, administrator
rights are needed to modify these files, as they
are stored in the Program Files folder.
