Standby Temperature Control

Fixing
temperature
■ Flying Start
Purpose
To reduce time to print the first sheet (FCOT).
Execution condition/timing
• When using the Numeric Keypad on the Control Panel/Touch Panel
• When turning ON the main power
• When recovering from sleep mode to standby mode
• At completion of jam removal
• When opening and closing the Right Door
* This control is performed regardless of the following service mode setting.
• Setting of whether to execute flying start (Lv.2):
COPIER > OPTION > IMG-FIX> FLYING
Control description
The temperature control target is set, and the Fixing Motor is controlled at half-speed to start operation.
The control continues for 15 sec at most until the machine receives a command to start printing.
