10.3 Look Ahead
The Look Ahead function (the function is part of Advanced Surface) achieves an optimum
machining speed by looking ahead over a parameterized number of traversing blocks. With
tangential block transitions, the axis is accelerated and decelerated beyond block
boundaries, so that no drops in speed occur.
