d. Open the door
ejects the flexible disk about 1/2-inch (13 mm).
e. Insert a dummy flexible disk and close the door.
f. Hold the disk in place by hand.
g. Open and close the door about 10 times to insure
that the door operates correctly.

Door Lock Solenoid Removal and Replacement

Use the following procedure to remove the door lock sole­
noid.
a. Remove the front panel
b. Remove
solenoid and bracket to the base frame.
c. Trace the wire to the door lock solenoid and sep­
arate the wire from the clips that secure it to the
base frame.
d. Unplug
PCB.
e. Remove the door lock solenoid.
