c. Carefully remove the heat-sink-and-fan assembly to avoid any possible damage to the system board.
Notes:
• The four screws cannot be removed from the heat-sink-and-fan assembly.
• You might have to gently twist the heat-sink-and-fan assembly to free it from the microprocessor.
• Do not touch the thermal grease while handling the heat-sink-and-fan assembly.
6. Remove the microprocessor retainer with the microprocessor from the heat-sink-and-fan assembly. See
"Microprocessor" on page 207. Ensure that the thermal grease on the microprocessor does not get in
contact with anything.
