Configure the Printer With the Configuration Utility

6824 Mobile Full Page Printer User Manual
1 On your desktop PC, open a communications program such as Tera Term.
2 Connect to the printer through the virtual COM port assigned to the printer.
3 In the communications program, send the command !!!. The printer
responds OK.
4 Send the command AT+BTN? The printer responds with its current friendly
name and OK.
5 Send the command AT+BTN="string", where
is the new device name for the printer. The printer responds OK.
6 Send the command ATZ. The printer hardware resets and the new device
name is saved.
You can use the Printer Configuration Utility to view and change the current
configuration settings. To use the Configuration Utility, you need a Bluetooth
connection between your PC and the printer.
Note: Changes are stored in printer memory and retained after the printer is
turned off.
1 On your PC, start the Printer Configuration Utility.
