Virtual Package
You can copy data to other media (local storage) and
enjoy various functions for BD discs that support
Virtual Package.
The main unit uses SD card as local storage.
Example:
• Creation of a Virtual Package including downloaded
subtitles, audio, or video.
• Use of downloaded graphics assets in an
application without incorporating them into a Virtual
Package.
NOTE
• The required capacity and method of copying or
playback may be different depending on the BD
disc. For details, refer to the instruction manual of
the disc.
• For details on how to insert the SD card, refer to
"Playing back a file" on page 16.
• The file may not be played back accurately if the SD
card contains other data or if it is formatted on other
devices. In this case, initialize the SD card with the
main unit or use other SD cards. (The recorded
contents will be deleted if you initialize the card.)
• If you remove the SD card from the main unit while
playing back the Virtual Package using copied data,
the disc will stop playing back.
• To delete the contents of the Virtual Package
recorded on the SD card, refer to "FORMAT SD
CARD" on page 55.
