Trouble shooting 12-1
INDOOR UNIT Error Method:
Damper Eror
(Damper (open/close) detection limit switch error)
Detective Actuators:
Indoor unit controller PCB
Limit switch
Damper
Forecast of Cause:
1. Limit switch failure
Test 1 : Check Limit switch
Check operation of limit switch. (any blocking by dust, etc.)
Remove Limit switch and check ON/OFF switching operation by using a meter.
>>If Limit switch is detective, replace it.
OK
Test 2 : Check Connector (CN18) / Wire
Check loose contact of CN18 /shorted wire (pinched wire).
>>Replace Limit switch if the wire is abnormal
OK
Test 3 : Check Damper
Check the obstruction of damper movement.
Check the damper movement.
>>Replace Damper if the damper is abnormal
OK
Test 4 : Replace Controller PCB
If Test 1 - 3 do not improve the symptom, change Controller PCB.
Indicate of Display:
Indoor Unit
Operation lamp : 5 time Flash
Timer lamp : 7 time Flash
ERROR CODE : [E : 57]
Detective details:
When limit switch were not able to detect the close though the damper close.
(Upper air flow)
When limit switch were not able to detect the close though the damper open.
(Upper and lower air flow)
