2.3 JUMPER REQUIREMENTS
Three jumper settings must be verified before power is applied to the disk drive. The
location of these three jumpers (JPl, JP6, and JP8) on the G9QST PCB is shown in
Figure 2-2. Insure that settings match those shown in Figure 2-2.
CAUTION
Do not alter these jumper settings. They are intended
for factory adjustments only.
2.4 SWITCH SETTINGS
Three eight-segment, dual-inline-packaged (DIP) switch assemblies on the G9QST logic
and servo PCB configure the D2246 to communicate with the controller and set the
sector count. DIP switch assembly locations are shown in Figure 2-6.
