information address in the Cross-References table are
connected to the Modbus Serial IED.
6. Click Save to create the cross-references (to connect the data objects to the Modbus
Serial IED).

Configuring objects

General information about configuring objects

After the objects have been added, configure the object properties. Figure 3.4.1-1 shows
an example of how to use SAB600 to configure the object properties for Modbus Serial
Slave OPC Client.
To configure an object:
1. Select an object in the object tree of the communication structure.
The object properties appear now in the Object Properties window. The properties
and their values can be viewed as shown in Figure 3.4.1-1.
