SYSTEM STARTUP

1.2 HD Initialization

START
Set the SENS switch
corresponding to the
system to be initialized
(CPU0, CPU1) to "1" on
the EMA card.
Make sure the write-protect
tab is set to "write enable
(permit)" position on the
"Basic Software #1" FD. Note
Insert the FD "Basic
Software #1" into the FDD.
Flip the MBR key on the CPR
[DOWN → UP → DOWN].
Slide the write-protect tab
is set to "write inhibit
(protect)" position on the
"Basic Software #1" FD. Note
END
Skip this step in the U.S.A, Canada, and Australia.
Note:
Removal or Make Busy of the HFD card is not
WARNING
allowed while the Floppy Disk or Hard Disk is
being accessed.
