If the measured value lies within the normal range (<38°C / 100.4°F),
the LED beneath the display will light up green for 3 seconds. If the
measured value is higher than this (≥ 38°C/100.4°F = fever), the
LED will light up red.
If you have activated Bluetooth
data transfer, the data will be

transferred after the measurement. The thermometer displays the
symbol for Bluetooth
during transfer.

note: The „HealthForYou" app must be activated for transfer to
occur. If the current data is not displayed on your smartphone,
repeat the transfer process as described in the chapter „transferring
measured values".
The device switches off automatically after 60 seconds, or press
the ON / OFF / MEASURE button
for 5 seconds to switch it off.

Measuring body temperature from the ear

There are people who present different measured values in their
left and right ear. To factor in temperature changes, always meas-
ure the same ear for the same person.
The integrated ear thermometer may only be used by children
under adult supervision. Measurement is usually only possible
from the age of 6 months and up. For infants under 6 months old,
the ear canal is often still too small for the temperature to be meas-
ured and this may lead to measurement results which are too low
being displayed.
Measurement may not be carried out on an ear suffering from an
inflammatory disease (i.e. inflamed with pus, secretions), after
potential injuries to the ear (i.e. eardrum damage) or during the
