Installing EPSON TWAIN Pro for Windows

After connecting the scanner to your computer, you need to install
the scanner software from the CD-ROM. If the scanner is
connected directly to your computer, follow the instructions for
your version of Windows in this section. If the scanner is
connected through a network, follow the instructions in
"Installing Software for Scanning Over a Network" on page 3-27.
Note:
If you are planning to upgrade your Windows operating system,
you should do so before installing the scanner software.
If you have already installed the scanner software in Windows 98,
95, or NT 4.0 and you plan to upgrade your Windows operating
system, you need to uninstall the scanner software before upgrading
Windows. See "When Updating Your Windows Operating
System" on page 3-48 for more information.
