Synchronising Time and Date of the Units
Loss of clock synchronisation of the unit will produce alarm indications under 2 conditions: (1)
when the VoIP Gateway Card is newly installed to the Hybrid IP-PBX, or (2) when it has been
disconnected from a power source for more than two months, causing the battery discharge.
However the alarm indications do not affect the VoIP operations, they should be corrected
following the procedure below.
3.6.1
Synchronising Time and Date
When synchronising time and date, the VoIP Gateway Card must be connected to a PC (see
"2.2.2 10BASE-T Cable Connection"). The VoIP Gateway Card's time and date will be
synchronised with those of the PC with which the card is connected.
