TEST METHOD

The following test method will allow you to verify the proper operation of the ISDN PRI in the
PBX without a physical connection to the network.
In order to accomplish a ISDN PRI internal test, two 24PRTs are necessary - one PRT configured
as the user side (normal operation) and the second PRT configured as the network side. The two
PRTs should be connected together.
To configure the 24PRT as a network side (for test purposes only), set the ARTD command CDN
64 = 1 and SW4 element 2 = OFF = network side.
You should be able to place calls from Station A via ISDN to Station B.
Figure 7 shows the connection of two 24PRTs for test purposes.

Command is used for monitoring the ISDN PRI D-Channel messages. By
entering the specific DCH, LEN, and specific type of messages to be displayed,
you can monitor Layer 2 or Layer 3 messages. Knowledge of ISDN Protocol is
required for interpreting these messages.
