DTC P1895/DTC NO.27 TORQUE REDUCTION SIGNAL CIRCUIT

WIRING DIAGRAM
TROUBLESHOOTING
STEP
1
Was "AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION DIAG-
NOSTIC FLOW TABLE" performed?

Check Torque Reduction Signal Circuit.
1) Check voltage between terminal E25-18
and body ground with ignition switch ON.
Is it 4 – 6 V?

Check Power Supply from ECM.
1) Disconnect TCM coupler with ignition
switch OFF.
2) Check voltage between terminal E25-18 of
disconnected TCM connector and body
ground with ignition switch ON.
Is it 4 – 6 V?
ACTION
YES
Go to Step 2.
Intermittent trouble or faulty
TCM. Check for intermittent
referring to "INTERMIT-
TENT AND POOR CON-
NECTION" in Section 0A.
Substitute a known-good
TCM and recheck.

3. Terminal arrangement of TCM coupler
(Viewed from harness side)
NOTE:
*1: Vehicle with WU-TWC
*2: Vehicle without WU-TWC
NO
Go to "AUTOMATIC
TRANSMISSION DIAG-
NOSTIC FLOW TABLE"
in this section.
Go to Step 3.
"Lg/R" circuit open,
"Lg/R" circuit shorted to
ground.
If the above are OK,
substitute a known-good
ECM and recheck.
