8. Getting started

8.1. Inserting the battery in the remote control

 As delivered, the battery is already inserted in the
remote control. To activate it, pull out the insulating
strip on the underside of the remote control.

8.2. Replacing batteries

The remote control requires a 3 V coin battery, type CR
2025.
WARNING!
Risk of explosion if batteries are replaced incorrectly.
 Do not throw the battery into a fire.
 Only replace batteries with the same type or an equiva-
lent type recommended by the manufacturer.
 Dispose of used batteries according to the manufactur-
er's specifications.
 Press on the catch and pull the battery compartment
out.
 Remove the flat battery and dispose of it at a collec-
tion point for old batteries.
 Put the new type CR 2025 battery in the battery
compartment with the plus pole upwards. Ensure
that the polarity (+/-) is correct when installing the
battery.
 Press the battery compartment in again.
