Input Signal level
Each field (1/60 sec) can have 12 steps. (in case of NTSC)
With using 2 neighboring fields, different grayscales are
assigned. By combining these 2 fields, grayscales in-
between can be generated. As a result of it, another 12
steps can be implemented to get 2 times as many
grayscales as that of 1 field.
