• Put the guide wire minimum 30 cm / 12 in.
from the boundary wire.
• Do not make sharp bends when you install
the guide wire.
• If the work area has a slope, put the guide
wire diagonally across the slope.
3.3.4.1 To set the corridor width of the guide wire
The guide corridor is the area adjacent to the
guide wire, which the product uses to find the
charging station. When the product moves in the
direction of the charging station, it always moves
to the left of the guide wire.
1. Do steps 1–3 in To get access to the menu
on page 23 .
2. Use the arrow buttons and the OK button to
move through the menu structure
> Advanced > Corridor width > Guide.
3. Use the number buttons to select a corridor
width of 0 to 9.
4. Push the BACK button.
Note: Make the corridor width as wide as
possible for a minimum risk of lines in the lawn.

3.3.5 Work area examples
• If the charging station is put in a small area
(A), make sure that the distance to the
boundary wire is at a minimum 3 m / 10 ft.
Installation
• If the work area has a passage (B), make
sure that the distance to the boundary wire
is at a minimum 2 m / 6.5 ft. If the passage is
smaller than 2 m / 6.5 ft., install a guide wire
through the passage. Minimum passage
between the boundary wire is 60 cm / 24 in.
• If the work area has areas which are
connected by a narrow passage (B), you
can set the product to leave the guide wire
after a certain distance (C). The settings can
be changed in
function on page 26 .
• Use the GPS Assisted Navigation. Refer to

page 26 .
• If the work area includes a secondary area
