Introduction
T he P lug In M enu com es up autom atically when you first turn on the T V after plugging it in. T he
P lug In M enu helps you to get your T V ready to use by letting you set your preferences for:
• T he Language in which you want the onscreen m enus to appear,
• T he Auto T uner S etup of which channels you wish to receive,
• S etting the T V 's clock to the correct tim e so your tim er functions will work properly.
D escriptions of each of the P lug In M enu features appear on this page and the next. W e recommend
you complete the P lug In M enu setup first so your TV is set up just the way you want, right away.

You can choose to view your onscreen m enus in three languages: E nglish, F rench, or S panish.

Auto Tuner Setup

In Auto Tuner Setup, the T V automatically scans through all available channels, memorizing the active
ones and skipping over blank ones or channels with weak signals. This means when you scan (using
the C + /- b u t t o n s ) you will receive only clear, active channels.
