Sound Settings

Bass

You can increase or decrease the level of low-frequency sound in the T V 's audio with the Bass adjustment.

Treble

U se Treble to adjust the level of high-frequency sound in your T V 's audio.

Balance

Adjust the level of sound between the T V 's two speakers with the Balance setting.

To shift the balance towards the right speaker

MTS (Multi-Channel Television Sound)
M T S technology allows several audio signals to be broadcast at once, giving you a choice in what
you wish to hear with a T V program . In addition to m ono or stereo sound, an M T S broadcast m ay
also include a S econd Audio P rogram (S AP )

S elect the m ode
(T he O N AIR arrow tells you if a broadcast is in S tereo and/or contains an S AP ).
• Keep the T V in S T E R E O m ode to get the best sound quality. T he sound will work in S T E R E O
m ode even if a certain broadcast is in M O N O sound only.
• C hoose the M O N O setting to reduce excessive noise on a certain channel or broadcast.
• S electing S AP will allow you to hear an alternative soundtrack, if one is available.
NOTE:
Y ou can leave the S ound S ettings menu at any time by pressing the E
