Use in industry
The device is designed for industrial use. The following standards are met:
● Requirements of the emission of interference EN 61000-6-4: 2001
● Requirements for noise immunity EN 61000-6-2: 2001
Use in residential areas
If the device is used in a residential area, you must take measures to achieve Limit Class B
conforming to EN 55011 for RF interference.
The following measures are suitable to reduce RF interference to the level of limit value
Class B:
● Installation of the device in a grounded cabinet
● Use of filters in electrical supply lines
Individual acceptance is required.

Electromagnetic compatibility
Introduction
The Industrial USB Hub 4 also meets the requirements of the EMC regulations of the EU.
EMC compliant design
EMC-compliant mounting of the device and the use of interference-proof cables provide the
bases for trouble-free operation. The "Directives for interference-free installation of PLCs"
and the "PROFIBUS Networks" manual also apply for the installation of the device.
