2.3 Setting Device Parameters

Context
The Telepresence System Manager allows you to configure individual device within the
telepresence system. The codec can all be configured in the Telepresence System Manager.
Procedure
Step 1 Click Device Control to display the device topology.
Step 2 Click Configuration Wizard and follow the onscreen instructions to set the parameters.
Codec: Set the network parameters for the codecs.
Step 3 Click Save.

2.4 Configuring the NMS

Context
You can specify an alarm account for the network management system (NMS). When your
telepresence system reports its alarms to the NMS, the NMS authenticates it based on this
alarm account.
Procedure
Step 1 Click Device Control to display the device topology.
Step 2 Right-click Telepresence Host and choose Configure NMS from the displayed shortcut
menu.
Step 3 Specify the user name and password for the NMS alarm account.
Step 4 Click Save.

Right-click a device icon or device name button and choose Settings to configure the device.
The user name and password must be the same as those defined on the NMS. The default user name is
tpAlarm, and the default password is tpAlarm@123.
