4.5 Joining an IMS Conference

Context
The telepresence system can join a video conference held over the IP Multimedia Subsystem
(IMS).
Born by the standard IP protocol, the IMS uses voice over IP (VoIP) applications, which is
based on the standard SIP applications of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), to
provide fixed and mobile multimedia services for carriers. The Huawei IMS
videoconferencing solution can integrate with Multipoint Control Units (MCUs) to provide
HD video conference functions.
Procedure
Step 1 On the Telepresence System Manager, set the SIP parameters and register the telepresence
system with the IMS server.

Step 2 On the Call screen of the touch panel, tap the Keypad tab.
Step 3 Enter the conference access number assigned by the IMS. Tap
