1
Unscrew both thumbscrews shipped with square foam on the
component panel . Unscrew the thumbscrew caps from the base (3x),
stand (4x), and HD display (2x). Discard the foam and set aside.
2
Place the base on the oor near the nal location for the system.
Remove the shipping foam from between the foundation and metal
overlay. Turn the overlay so the most presentable side faces upward.
3
Insert the phone cable (from the phone box) and the VGA cable
(from cable bag 1) through the cable channel that runs along the
underside of the base and pull them through the hole in the center.
Pull at least 1 m (3.3 ft) of the phone cable and 80 cm (32 in) of the VGA
cable through the hole. Cables can be inserted into the cable channel
from the front (shown) or back of the base.
4
Thread the phone cable and VGA cable through the hole in the bottom
of the stand and place the stand on top of the base bolts. LifeSize
recommends a second person to assist mounting the stand to the base.
5
Use 2 thumbscrew caps to secure the stand to the outer base bolts.
Note: Do not secure the middle bolt at this time.
6
Facing the back of the speaker, thread the speaker's AC power cable
and audio cable (from cable bag 2) under the mounting bracket and
connect them to the back of the speaker.
7
Mount the speaker vertically over the two bolts protruding from the
center of the back of the stand, and use a thumbscrew cap to secure the
speaker to the top bolt.
Note: Secure only the top bolt at this time.
8
Insert the video system, back end facing up, into the middle brackets
on the component panel. Adjust the brackets so the two fan ports on the
video system are positioned directly beneath the rectangular hole in the
panel.
9
Place the component panel inside the stand, using the bolt near the
speaker and the middle bolt on the base as guides. Use 2 thumbscrew
caps to secure the panel to both bolts. Ensure the speaker cables remain
in front or to the side of the panel (but inside the stand) as you secure it.
10
Place the electronics box into the two brackets at the base of the
component panel. Secure the box and panel to the stand with two
thumbscrews. Ensure the phone cable remains to the left side of the
electronics box (inside the stand) as you secure it. Similarly, ensure the
VGA cable remains to the right of the electronics box.
11
Connect the free ends of the VGA cable, phone cable, and the
speaker's AC power cable and audio cable to the electronics box and
video system, indicated by cables 1-4 on the wiring diagram.
12
Guide the 2 mounting bolts located on the upper back side of the
display into the corresponding holes on the stand, and gently slide the
display downward into place.
Note: LifeSize recommends two people to mount the display.
