with LifeSize® Express 220™

Unscrew the thumbnuts shipped with square foam from the base (4x)
and HD display (4x). Discard the foam. Place the base on the oor near the
nal location for the system. Remove the shipping foam from between the
foundation and metal overlay. Turn the overlay so the most presentable
side faces upward.

Insert the phone cable (from the phone box) and the VGA cable (from
cable bag 1) through the cable channel that runs along the underside of
the base and pull them through the hole in the center. Pull at least 1 m
(3.3 ft) of the phone cable and 80 cm (32 in) of the VGA cable through the
hole.
Note: Cables can be inserted into the cable channel from the front
(shown) or back of the base.

Thread the phone cable and VGA cable through the hole in the bottom
of the stand and place the stand on top of the base screws.
Note: LifeSize recommends two people to mount the display.

Use 4 thumbnuts to secure the stand to the base screws.

Insert the video system, rear panel facing upward, into the brackets on
the component panel. Adjust the brackets so the two fan ports on the
video system are centered beneath the ba e.

Place the component panel inside the stand, using the screws on the
stand as guides. Use the 3 thumbnuts included with the panel to secure
it to the screws.

Place the electronics box into the two brackets near the bottom of the
stand. Secure the box and panel to the stand with the 2 thumbscrews
included with the component panel. Ensure the phone cable remains to
the left side of the electronics box (inside the stand) as you secure it.
Similarly, ensure the VGA cable remains to the right of the electronics box.

Connect the free ends of the VGA cable and phone cable to the
electronics box and video system, indicated by cables 1-2 on the wiring
diagram.

Guide the 2 mounting hangers located on the upper back side of the
display into the corresponding keyholes in the stand, and gently slide the
display downward into place.
Note: LifeSize recommends two people to mount the display.

Reach into the stand from the back and secure the display to the stand
with 2 thumbnuts.

Remove the cables from bag 2 and connect them from the display to
the video system and electronics box, indicated by cables 3-6 on the
wiring diagram.
Note: The display requires only 4 cables, even though it features
additional ports.
