2. Product Description.
The DTS1800 is a fibre optic video transmission system that incorporates all the features and functions
required to use a Broadcast Camera in a live studio or outside broadcast scenario. Along with native,
uncompressed video transmission up to 4K resolution the system transmits/receives audio, camera control
data, tally, monitor video, intercom and power for the camera.
The system consists of a battery sized Fibre Camera Adaptor (FCA) and a Fibre Base Station (FBS). The two
units are connected by a composite fibre/copper cable giving high data rate capability and FCA/camera power
from the FBS up to 2km.
