6.4 Connect Power and Data Cables to Power Bar

This section is a guide to power and data connection in the Power bar.
Warning!
Only trained personnel, such as electricians or NEC personnel,
may connect the internal power supply to mains power supply.

Connect Data Cables to the Power Bar

Prepare the data connection according to the cabling plans, see 14.1 Cable Plans.
Each column of cabinets needs one main and one backup data input.
Connect the main data input to the left Ethernet ports and the backup data input to
the right Ethernet ports in the Power bar. See also Figure 60.

Connect Power Cables to the Power Bar

Prepare the power connection according to the cabling plans, see 14.1 Cable Plans.
Each column of cabinets is wired to one terminal in the Power bar.
Connect the conductors of the external power cables (L, N, PE) to the terminals in
the Power bar. See also Figure 60.
Connect each conductor (L, N, PE) to its appropriate terminal (L, N, PE). The coloring
and the positions may differ from Figure 60.
Caution!
Risk of electric shock and product damage.
Ensure the Power bar and the whole LED Wall are properly grounded before
putting it into use.
