4-3.Connecting a SCSI Cable

To connect a SCSI Cable:
Notice
1.
Confirm the power to the computer is off (power lamp off), then unplug the power cord from the
electrical outlet.

Insert a SCSI cable connector in this product's connector fully for firm connection. Secure the
connector on both sides with screws.
3.
Insert a cable connector (the other side) in SCSI device's connector fully for firm connection.
Secure the connector on both sides with screws.
4.
Plug the power cord of the computer into the electrical outlet.
Do not connect this product to a computer or SCSI device that is not
recommended by NEC Corporation. If the product is connected to a computer or
SCSI device that is not recommended by NEC Corporation, the product may
malfunction or fail.
Please contact the retailer or service center for the information on recommended
computers, SCSI devices, or SCSI cables.
If the power to the computer is on (power lamp on), shut down the operating
system and then turn off the computer.
