RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Under no circumstances may the appliance be
submersed in fl uids or fl uids be allowed to perme-
ate the housing. Do not expose the appliance to
humidity and do not use it outdoors. Should liquids
enter the housing, disconnect the appliance from
the mains power socket immediately and arrange
for it to be repaired by a qualifi ed technician.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains power
source immediately after use. The appliance is
completely free of electrical power ONLY when
unplugged.
Ensure that objects can never penetrate into the
inside of the appliance, particularly not metal
hair clips, grips or hairpins.
If the appliance is being used in the bathroom, after
use disconnect the plug from the mains power sock-
et, because the close proximity of water represents
a hazard, even when the appliance is switched off .

this appliance in the close vicinity of baths,
shower basins or other receptacles contain-
ing water.The proximity of water presents a
risk, even when the appliance is switched off .
As additional protection, the installation of a
faulty-current protection unit with an activation
power rating of not more than 30 mA is rec-
ommended for the power circuit in the bath-
room. Ask your electrician for advice .
