5 MAKING USE OF MODULES

5.4 Registration in the Analog Support Program

None of the analog modules (and pulse counter modules) covered in this manual can be used
without prior registration in the Analog Support Program. This section describes the procedure
used to register such modules in the program. The flowchart below shows the registration
procedure that is used in cases where the LPU used is one of the following: the model LQP510
LPU, Module Rev. R, and the model LQP710 LPU, Module Rev. N.
Start
Start the ladder chart
system.
Call up the
"Analog counter"
window.
Register analog/counter
modules.
End
Launches the ladder chart system and establishes a
connection with the tool (personal computer) in use.
Opens the "Analog counter" window.
Sets up the correspondence between the registration numbers
and the analog/counter modules through registration.
