    The Quidway S5300 switch (S5300 for short) is a Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) access device that provides access and data transport functions. The S5300 is developed by Huawei to meet the requirements for reliable access, aggregation, and high-quality transmission of multiple services on the MAN .

The S5300 Ethernet switches adopt an integrated hardware platform. An S5300 consists of the chassis, power supply unit, fan, switch control unit (SCU), and interface card.
