No. Cable Layout Rules
1 The armoring layer of armored cables should be grounded.
The ground cable is securely connected to the equipment room ground bar. Use a
2 multimeter to measure the resistance between the PDC ground cable and the equipment
room ground bar. The resistance must be less than 1 ohm.
3 Cables must be securely connected in the correct phase sequence.
4 Cables must be neatly arranged and cable insulation layers must be intact.
5 Different types of cables must be routed separately.
Connection ports and cabling methods must facilitate maintenance, cable routing, and
6
capacity expansion.
Cable connectors prepared onsite must be secure, reliable, and neat, and conform to
7
specifications.
Power cables, ground cables, and signal cables must be securely connected. Adapters must
8
be securely plugged or screwed.
The N and PE cables are bound separately from the L1/L2/L3 or L cables for each circuit
9
breaker. Cables are converged at the beam and bound in groups by cable ties.
